Dry winter skin – what to do?
Freezing temperatures, a cold wind and dry heating air - these are all things that can really take their toll on our skin and dry it out quickly. That's why many people have dry skin, especially in winter.
Dry skin feels tight, itches quickly and looks pale and wrinkled. In addition, the dry areas can also become inflamed extremely easily.
The face and hands are particularly prone to dry patches because they are most exposed to cold, dry air. Elbows and shins are also prone to dry winter skin because they contain fewer sebaceous glands.
Dry skin is caused by the impairment of the natural skin barrier - the important protective mechanisms no longer work properly. This leads to moisture loss and sensitivity.

The most important thing for dry skin is daily, intensive care. It should provide the skin with moisture so that the damaged skin barrier can be restored and further moisture loss is avoided. Glycerin: Glycerin is part of the skin's own moisturizing system and, as a skin-derived substance, is extremely well tolerated. In cosmetics, glycerin has a strong moisture-binding effect and protects and regenerates the skin's own barrier function. This effectively increases skin elasticity. Glycerin is therefore an ideal ingredient for retaining moisture and reducing irritation.

The extremely finely atomized mist produced by our patented ultrasonic humidifiers wets all surfaces, allowing the active ingredient to wet ceilings, walls, equipment, ventilation ducts, air conditioning systems, food and furniture. The mist thus serves as a carrier and transports the biocide evenly into all areas, even those that are difficult to access, thus closing all common disinfection gaps.
