The common horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) is a species of the genus horse chestnut (Aesculus) native to the Balkans and widely planted in Central Europe. The horse chestnut has anti-inflammatory, astringent, antibacterial, blood-purifying, hemostatic, diuretic, antispasmodic, expectorant and analgesic properties.
The blue-green juniper berries, juniper cones, grow on evergreen shrubs or small trees that are up to 12m tall. The slightly yellowish oil obtained from the steam distillation of the dried berries is said to have not only numerous physical but also psychological effects. Juniper oil can be used both internally (not with emmi-bioMYO ) and externally.
Juniper oil helps with the following physical complaints: joint pain, muscle pain, back pain, rheumatism, arthritis and tension in the neck and shoulder area, juniper oil can even work wonders for sprains and strains. The hellebore (Helleborus) originally comes from Transylvania and Galicia. The perennial plant blooms between January and March and its dark, purple flowers stand out beautifully against the white snow. The plant is often also called the Christmas rose.
